Hexigard^®-4 is a Chlorhexidine Gluconate containing skin friendly hand wash and skin antiseptic. Hexigard^®-4 has a high affinity for skin and creates a germ killing field which is effective long after washing or scrubbing. Hexigard^®-4 is active in the presence of organic matter so it is an ideal solution for hand and skin disinfection.

Hexigard^®-4 is highly effective in reducing both cross infection and surgical site infection. Addition of moisturizer in Hexigard^®-4 maintains water balance and protects skin integrity. Hexigard^®-4 can be used in areas:

Surgical hand scrubbing
Pre-admission skin antisepsis
Pre-operative skin antisepsis
In intra-operative irrigation

How to Use

For antimicrobial hand washing:

1) Take small amount of Hexigard^®-4
2) Start rubbing to get proper foam
3) follow recommended 7 steps of hand disinfection

	Palm to Palm
	Right palm over left dorsum and left palm over right dorsum
	Palm to Palm with fingers interlaced
	Back of fingers to opposing palm with fingers interlocked
	Rotational rubbing of right thumb clasped in left palm and vice versa
	Rotational rubbing, backwards and forwards with clasped fingers of right hand in left palm and vice versa
	Rotational rubbing of right wrist followed by left wrist
