MilSept^® Foam is a sterile, single use, soft, conformable, hydrophilic, non-adherent polyurethane foam dressing containing about 0.5% w/w polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), an agent that supports the infection prevention goals in wound management. The PU foam has a microporous hydrophilic structure that absorbs wound exudate, debrides, kills microbes, and maintains a moist wound healing environment. Supports upto 7 days of exudate absorption and antimicrobial action

How to Use

Cleanse and debride the area as necessary. Dry the peri-wound area before applying the dressing
Select an appropriately sized dressing where the foam pad is slightly larger than the wound area
Centre the dressing on the wound and apply it gently to the wound site. Press the dressing on the surrounding skin by gentle application of pressure.
Cover with a suitable secondary dressing to hold the dressing in place or depending on exudate levels
May be used under compression
